If you are short on time or you just want to check out what all the fuss is about, then this is the option for you. By the time it takes you to start feeling comfortable with your scuba equipment, we’ll have the fishes eating out of the palms of your hands in your first exploration of the underwater world!
The first time you breathe underwater is an experience to remember – and you’ll be surprised by just how much FUN it is. Nothing compares to the “weightless” exhilaration of flying underwater and only a diver knows that feeling.
Try Scuba Diving and feel it for yourself.
What’s involved?
After meeting with your instructor, who will go over the fundamentals of scuba diving to enjoy your dive safely, you’ll enter the water ready for your scuba adventure. We’ll practise the initial skills in shallow water and then get ready for your first open water dive under the supervision of your Instructor. To a maximum depth of 6 meters, this experience will be the first step in your new hobby that might just change your life.
How long will it take?
It will take approximately 2 hours including theory, diving skills and dive.
Typical schedule of Try Scuba Diving
You’ll meet with your Instructor and fill out necessary paperwork, talk about some of the skills you’ll be required to do and why you need to know them and then try on some equipment.
Dive boat departs for a nice islet where we can find depth in which to stand up in. You’ll be briefed by your Instructor again as to what skills you’ll need to perform and the action required to perform that skill.
You’ll be sitting on your knees, looking at fishies breathing underwater! Once you are feeling comfortable with this unfamiliar surrounding you’ll watch your Instructor perform a skill and then get you to repeat the same action. You’ll do this several times with a few varied skills and then your Instructor will take you on a voyage of discovery to a maximum depth of 6 meters.
Back on the boat and back to the shore to talk about everything we just saw and did over cookies and coffee.
